The Raven

Finally made a little more progress on The Raven. I have found someone to help me modeling. I posted on the Animation Forum West Midlands facebook page asking for anyone to help. Still need one more modeler though.

The Boss

Not posted for a while. I've been working on a film called 'The Boss'. It's for my External Brief module. I'm entering it into the Reed Short film competition.

External Brief

Decided i didn't like the character i had made for the silent movie animation challenge. I also decided changed my idea of what is going to happen. Theseus and the Minotaur didn't really fit with the music i am using.

Instead i am going to use this character:

It's fully rigged and switchable IK and FK. The first time i have done a rig with both IK and FK controllers. 

Still haven't done the texture though.

The story is going to be a more simple chase scene.

External Brief

Module two of final semester.

For this module i am entering the silent movie animation challenge.

The challenge is to animate of the word Birmingham or an iconic image of Birmingham to a silent movie track provided.

I chose to use the Bullring Bull and based it on the story of Theseus and the Minotaur.

What I have done so far:

The Bull modeled and rigged.

And a man.

Now I am working on scenery. It's going to look a little bit like a maze crossed with an arena. 

Animation Direction

Final semester at university. Module one of two; Animation Direction.

For this module i am doing a short film based on the Edgar Allan Poe poem, The Raven. I need to collaborate with at least three people on this module. So far i have zero people to work with.

So far i have only modeled and rigged the main character.

Dinosaur

I started to model a dinosaur.

I also plan to model a man as realistic as i can do.

Myths and Legends - Final Film
